La cassettiera introversa al Museo Poldi Pezzoli

On March 14th the exhibition ”Almost Secrets’ was inaugurated at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum and curated by Beppe Finessi (http://museopoldipezzoli.it), as part of the initiatives related to the Milan Furniture Fair: ‘An exhibition on the contemporary world of the drawers, evidently functional elements, capable yes to collect, contain, sort of hide, but because of their operating characteristics, also able to suggest visions, rekindle memories, cultivate ‘stories and trigger suggestions’. Among the selected works there is also the ‘Introverted drawer’ designed by Mauro Lovi and hand painted by him, produced by Megalopoli of Agneta Holst in 1987, photo credits Aldo Ballo.
The exhibition at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum covers the entire Museum with the intent to define a harmonious dialogue with the all collections and the rooms of the Museum House of Milan. The works have been selected among the projects of the leading representatives of the international art and design world.
