Biography
Simone Caldognetto was born in Milan in 1977. After finishing courses at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, he began his career as an artist, concentrating on the human figure. He was awarded a scholarship to study contemporary sculpture in Spain; the course he completed convinced him to switch his interest to geometry and abstraction. Since 2004, he has been a docent at the Public Art High School, in Lucca, where he lives and works.
