Biography
Federico Caruso (Milan, 1971). Studied with Piergiorgio Balocchi at Carrara. Fuses the lessons of the 20th century with the antique “manner” in his work, which is pervaded with great theatricality. Even in his small-scale pieces, the work betrays a desire for monumentality, a constant feature of the neo-Florentine sculptor’s work.
